For instance if you think losing weight might be the niche you want to target then you need to look for people wanting to find ways to get rid of that "muffin top" or those "man boobs", or target those women who are dying to lose 10 more pounds before their wedding. The thing is, you don't want to build your promotion campaign around something as vague as losing weight. You need to narrow the subject matter.

The third step would be to find different products that are going to help support the niche that you have chosen. You will need to do research on different companies that offer different exercise programs, diet pills, diet drinks, exercise equipment and so on. You need to be affiliated with companies that will be able to offer your target audience just what they need and might be looking for.

The fourth step is for you to do some good keyword research. You already have your niche so now you need to come up with a long list of keywords. Once you have them do research on them by putting them in search engines and see what they bring up. You will want to make sure that if the keyword you put in has a lot of competition that you omit that keyword from your list. You want as little competition as you can get with the keywords that you finally end up with.

The fifth step you will proceed to will be building your blog. This is where you are going to want to promote the product or products that you have to offer from the different affiliate programs you may have chosen. You need to try and give as much information as you can without sounding like you are trying to sell a bunch of products. Give info, give out advice and even give reviews on products. During all of this, make sure that you include your keywords.

The final and sixth step is for you to start writing your articles and submit them not just on your own site but try to go to other sites to see if they will allow you to submit them onto their sites. There are many sites out there that will allow guest writers to contribute to their blogs. You just need to make sure that you don't come off as a spammer. Always make sure that your articles continue to contain your keywords, that's how they are going to find you and your site.
